Public Meeting #1
We want to hear from you!
The Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) is responsible for making sure that Connecticut's electric, natural gas, water, and telecommunications utilities provide safe, clean, reliable, and affordable service. To make its decisions, PURA opens formal spaces to discuss specific issues. To make the best decisions possible, PURA is exploring ways to bring more perspectives into the decision-making process. This means making it easier for Connecticut ratepayers to share their expertise, lived experience, and ideas with PURA.
At this Public Meeting, participants will get to:
Learn about PURA’s role, responsibilities, and current processes, and why PURA wants to expand access.
Participate in activities to share how much they want to engage with PURA, how they are or are not able to engage, and what topic areas that PURA covers matters to them.
Discuss with fellow participants recommendations to increase one’s ability to engage with PURA.
Doors open at 5:30pm. Meeting starts at 6pm and ends at 7:15pm.
Interpretation services are available. Spanish interpretation will be offered by default. Additional interpretation services may be requested up to 2 days in advance (by March 18 at 6pm ET).
